Latest Update: Ford is reportedly planning to re-enter the Indian automobile market and may debut with its new-generation Ford Endeavour SUV. However, the Ford Endeavour is now globally offered as Ford Everest, and if launched in India, it might be named the same.
Rumored to launch in India by the end of 2025 or early 2026, the Ford Endeavour SUV is expected to feature dual-pod projector LED headlamps, LED DRLs, roof-mounted spoiler, and LED tail lights. The SUV will have rugged and imposing styling with 20-inch premium alloy wheels. The new generation is expected to borrow some exterior styling from the Ford Ranger pickup truck, with two horizontal slats across the width of the grill with the Ford logo in the center. Compared to previous generation models, the new Endeavour SUV will have a slightly longer profile for a comfortable cabin and boot space.
Inside the cabin, it's expected to have a 12.0-inch touch screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a gesture control-powered tailgate, and a three-spoke steering wheel. There could also be a remote start function, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera system. The SUV will have safety features like ADAS, nine airbags, and hands-free parking.
The 2025 Ford Endeavour is expected to come in two engine options: a 2.0-liter turbo diesel and a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine. It is expected that the Endeavour will be assembled locally and might be powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine. The new model can also receive a 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine, which is offered in select markets like Australia. The 3.0-liter engine produces 250 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, better than the Toyota Fortuner’s 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine.
Price & Competitors
The upcoming Ford Endeavour is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh to Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom and will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, and Skoda Kodiaq SUV.
