Tata Curvv EV

The Curvv EV is an electric SUV which is positioned above the Nexon EV. The Curvv EV is built on Tata’s advanced Acti.ev platform and holds a load of attractive features and modern technology. 

The exterior design elements within the Curvv EV are a closed-off grille with an integrated charging port beneath the 2D Tata logo, flanked by full-width connected LED DRLs that offer sequential turn indicators and welcome/goodbye animations. The other elements are the split headlamp setup, bi-functional LED projector headlights, LED fog lamps, and the vertical slats on the bumper. The cues on the sides are flush-fitting door handles, aerodynamically designed 18-inch alloy wheels, and thick gloss black cladding around the wheel arches. The rear features a connected LED light bar, extended roof spoiler, and a blacked-out bumper with a silver skid plate.

The interior of the Curvv EV offers a contemporary and spacious cabin. The other elements are the premium materials and the ambient lighting. The other features are a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The practical features include a 500L boot space, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and a powered tailgate with a kick sensor. The cabin also features multi-zone climate control, a premium audio system, and connected car technology.

The safety features within the Curvv EV include six airbags, an electronic stability programme, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The advanced features offered by the Curvv EV are a 360-degree camera, blind view monitor, auto defogger, and auto-dimming inside mirror. The top variants offer Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) with auto emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. Additional safety technologies include hill hold/descent control, speed-triggered auto door locks, rear parking sensors, and a rear defogger.

The Tata Curvv EV is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor which generates a power output of 165 bhp and 215 Nm of torque. The 55 kWh lithium-ion battery provides an impressive ARAI-certified range of up to 502 km on a single charge. The charging options include a 7.2 kW AC wall box (10-100% in 7.9 hours) and a 70 kW DC fast charger (10-80% in 40 minutes).
