What could have been better?The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a three-row luxury compact SUV that balances urban sophistication with genuine adventure capability. The Discovery Sport is available in both petrol and diesel Dynamic SE variants.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport features a new glossy black mesh front grille, freshly designed LED headlamps and taillamps, and a sporty black cladding around the wheel arches and lower body. The luxury compact SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels.
Interior & Features
Step inside the Discovery Sport, and the cabin greets you with a high-quality design with soft-touch materials along with DuoLeather upholstery. The tech features include an 11.4-inch curved glass Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is paired with a fully digital instrument cluster. Other additional features are a panoramic sunroof, a Meridian sound system, 12-way driver and 10-way passenger electrically adjustable seats with memory function, climate control extending to the third row, wireless device charging and multiple USB-C ports across all rows, a powered tailgate and keyless entry for added convenience, ambient lighting and high-quality metal accents.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport has received a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and features seven airbags along with driver knee and curtain airbags. Other safety features include a 360-degree surround view camera and ClearSight ground view, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), traction control, Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and ISOFIX child seat mounts, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and High Beam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Driver Condition Monitor, and Ultrasonic Wade Sensing for safe water crossings.
Engine & Performance
The Defender Sport is available in two options, namely a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol which generates 245 bhp and 365 Nm of torque and a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel option which generates 201 bhp and 430 Nm of torque. Both engine options are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
