What could have been better?The Range Rover Evoque is a luxury compact SUV and can be purchased at an ex-showroom price starting at INR 64.12 lakhs. The Evoque is now available in a new Autobiography variant with lots of enhancements to cater to the Indian buyers.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Range Rover Evoque features a mesh grille design, LED pixel headlamps with a new daytime running lamp signature, and a floating roof available in accent colours like Corinthian Bronze or gold. Additional elements include new bumper designs, red brake callipers, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Autobiography variant of the Evoque features a copper finish and detailing on the bonnet and tailgate lettering, along with new 19-inch alloy wheels.
Interior and Features
Step inside the Evoque, and the cabin greets its customers with heated and cooled front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an electrically adjustable steering column, and configurable cabin lighting. The tech features include an 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen running the Pivi Pro infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Autobiography variant offers suede cloth headlining and new interior colour options. Additional features include a cabin air purifier with PM2.5 filtration.
The safety features inside the Range Rover Evoque include seven airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, and a 360-degree camera system. The ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) features include blind spot monitoring.
Engine & Performance
The Range Rover Evoque is available in two engine options. The first option is a 2.0L mild-hybrid petrol engine which generates a power of 247 bhp and 365 Nm of torque. The second option is a 2.0L mild-hybrid diesel engine which generates 201 bhp and 430 Nm of torque. Both the engines are coupled with a 9-speed transmission and feature a 48V mild-hybrid system.

Its spacious seats offer ample legroom and headspace, ensuring a relaxed journey even on bumpy Indian terrains. I personally like its cushioned seats and comfort.
4The Evoque does not shine as brightly. Its powerful engine and heavy build contribute to a somewhat average fuel economy. While it can traverse the urban jungle with ease, one might need to frequent the fuel stations on long drives to savor its performance.And as compared to sych range cars it is a better version.
