The greatest improvement to the Tiguan will be a new look that it has thanks to matrix LED headlights and DRLs, a reworked bumper, a new grille, and fog lamps. It will be constructed on the same MQB platform. VW has already upgraded the Tiguan's wheels to 18 inches, and they now feature a new design. A new design will also be present for the tail lights.
With the 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine producing 184 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, along with paddle shifters, a seven-speed DSG, and VW's 4Motion all-wheel drive system, Volkswagen will replace the diesel powertrain under the hood.
